Te Moata Charitable Trust and Te Moata Guardianship
The Guardianship of Te Moata is interwoven by the two main threads of the Charitable Trust and the Guardianship Company.
The Te Moata Charitable Trust is responsible for:

•Running the retreat Centre

•Setting the schedule of workshops.

•Maintaining the buildings and grounds

•Implementing the ecological plan for the sanctuary

•Guiding the direction of the Centre

•Communicating with the Te Moata community through email newsletters and via the website.
On a day to day basis Te Moata is run by the managers, Dave Saunders and Jessie Birss. Dave and Jessie run the office and take care of the land and buildings; they are the first point of contact for retreatants.
Te Moata Guardianship Company
The Te Moata Guardianship Company was set up in December 2010 and is the result of an amazing community effort to secure Te Moata’s future.
The Te Moata Guardianship Company is the legal entity that owns Te Moata.
The Te Moata Charitable Trust is the main shareholder in the Guardianship Company, currently holding 42.5% of shares.
