Te Moata Booking & Cancellation Policy

(for individuals attending Te Moata organised retreats)

Thank you for booking a retreat or other event at Te Moata. We are looking forward to welcoming you onto the very special whenua and wish you a fruitful time.

Below is our booking and cancellation policy for retreats and other events that are bookable through the Te Moata website.

To secure your place at an event, you are required to pay the full amount charged for the event when you register through our website.

The following fees apply for retreats organised by Te Moata:

• If you have to cancel earlier than 14 days before the event begins, we will refund you the total amount, minus an administration fee of $100.
• If you have to cancel within 14 days of the event no refund will be paid. Refunds will be considered under exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the Te Moata management.

Exceptional Circumstances: We may consider the following:

1. Medical Emergencies: If you or a close family member experience a serious illness or injury that prevents you from fulfilling your commitment, we may offer a partial refund or the option to reschedule, subject to documentation (e.g., a doctor's note).
2. Family Emergencies: In the event of the death or critical illness of a close family member, we will consider providing a refund or rescheduling, with supporting evidence, such as a death certificate or medical documentation.
3. Other Unforeseen Situations: In cases where you experience an unexpected and verifiable event that prevents you from fulfilling your booking (e.g. fire, natural disaster) we will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis and may grant a refund or option to reschedule.

How to Request an Exception: Please contact us as soon as possible and provide appropriate documentation. We will review your case and, if approved, issue a refund or reschedule your booking in accordance with our policy.
