A weekly community meditation gathering held at Te Moata — a space to sit in stillness, reconnect with yourself and others and nourish wairua (spirit) through shared presence and quiet reflection.
About the Weekly Sangha
Each Thursday evening, our doors open to all who wish to gather in stillness and community. These weekly Sangha sessions offer a gentle, grounding rhythm to your week. There’s no need to register or pay, simply come along and be part of a welcoming space for mindfulness and shared presence.
What to Expect
Please arrive by 5:45 PM to settle in for a 6:00 PM start in the Main Hall.
We’ll begin with a few gentle chants, followed by around 35 minutes of silent meditation, and close with a short sharing circle. The formal part of the evening will finish at 7:00 PM. Afterwards, you’re warmly invited to stay for a cup of tea in the dining hall, a relaxed chance to connect and unwind together. Koha toward tea and firewood is always appreciated.
