Te Moata is a large and complex environment that takes many resources to stay alive and thrive and we are concerned about Te Moata’s ongoing financial viability. The reality is that significant parts of Te Moata are now approximately 40 years old. Our expenses are generally higher than our income, and this is mainly driven by the upkeep of the aging infrastructure of Te Moata,

Our team of managers, buildings and land need immediate financial support to continue serving as a sanctuary for all who seek solace here.

How You Can Help Sustain Te Moata

• One-Off or Annual Donations: As we are an approved charity, you can claim 33.33 cents for each dollar you donate as a tax credit. Donate directly to our Te Moata bank account –12-3044-0422743-000 and include your name in the reference field. Please email retreat@temoata.org to let us know you have donated.

• Automatic Payments: Set up an automatic payment to ensure ongoing repairs and maintenance. A recurring donation, no matter how small the amount, ensures a steady stream of support that sustains our initiatives. If you already have an a/p set up, thank you so much.
• Share Fundraising Ideas: If you have great fundraising ideas, take ownership of them and we’ll help publicise them in our future newsletters. 
• Leave a Lasting Legacy: Consider including Te Moata in your will and leave a bequest to safeguard the sanctuary’s future for generations.
