Accommodation at the Centre if you are on a retreat

Te Moata accommodates those attending retreats in two main sleeping areas at the centre with a total of 22 separate sleeping cubicles, each with a window and with a curtain. Half of the Cubicles are in a loft and accessed by ladders.

Three single rooms under the centre supplement these together with three courtyard rooms, each of which can take two people (one up and one down), however they are usually used for one person.. The courtyard rooms are close to all facilities so are ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

Five of the single rooms at the centre and the Healing Hut can easily be configured into double rooms for a couples, and together with cottages, seven or eight couples’ spaces can be created. We can accommodate  32-38 retreatants depending on meeting specific requirements.

The welcoming fireplaces of the main room and the meditation room ensure a cosy stay and the wood-fired boiler provides ample hot water for showers.

Teachers are accommodated in cosy, self contained cottages with those cottages not required for teachers/facilitators being used for cooks, service teams and retreatants.

As Te Moata is off-the-grid, all lighting is solar.

Bedding, linen and towels are available for $25.00 per person. Please advise us in advance.

Upgraded accommodation surcharges for 2024 can be viewed here

Please note: when retreats are not being held our self contained cottages are sometimes available to book. See details below.
